Our Story

The Clubhouse Restaurant went from concept to reality in less than five months. Although the concept had been rolling around in Robb & Sara’s heads, hearts, and conversations for almost twenty years, the timing and opportunity had never really aligned. Robb (originally from Detroit Lakes), a 28 year alum of the very popular Minnesota exclusive, but nationally recognized Zorbaz brand (founding owner & operator of the Park Rapids location for 21 years), and Sara (originally from Park Rapids), a local attorney that hails from a family with restaurant and hospitality in their blood for generations (Bella Cafe, 3rd Street Market, and original owners/developers of Val Chatel), are excited to enter into this chapter of sharing hospitality with Park Rapids locals and visitors alike. In fact, even more than exceptional food, wine, beer, and cocktails, we believe it’s hospitality that we offer and specialize in. The Clubhouse is an “inclusive club”, that will make you feel as if you’re part of “exclusive care”. Our menu consists of three day parts, “The Breakfast Club”, focused on energized 80’s music, sweet & savory crepes, different elevated Benedicts, steak and eggs, and a classic American breakfast, “The Social Club”, focused on a relaxed afternoon vibe, with upscale handhelds, salads, and soups, and our “Supper Club”, with modern takes on classics, including Walleye, Salmon, Pork, Duck, and some interesting “Butcher’s List” specialty cuts of steak! We have an amazing team of chef’s, headed up by the talented Chef Joel London, and a serving team with years of experience, highly trained, and the best in the business of hospitality.
